Black Hills State University
Originally called Dakota Territorial Normal School, Black Hills State University was founded in 1883 in Spearfish, South Dakota. Today, the BHSU Yellow Jackets compete in Division II athletics.
The Yellow Jackets will become a part of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) at the beginning of the 2012-13 season.
