University of Sioux Falls
Originally named the Dakota Collegiate Institute, the University of Sioux Falls first opened its doors in 1883 in the basement of the First Baptist Church of Sioux Falls. The USF Cougars are a Division II school that competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Their mascot is Cooper the Cougar.
